FinTis will have it’s annual International Food Week from Monday to Friday (May 7-11). We will have the food from Norway, America, Germany, Estonia, Finland and Brazil. Bon Appetit!

Estonian Independence Day celebrations in Tartu

This year Tartu city hosts the 94^th independence day celebrations.

Go and be part of these events:

• 7:24 Raising the national flag in Tähetorn on Toomemägi

• 11:00 Independence Day service in Jaani Church

• 12:00 The Parade of the Estonian Defence Forces in Vabaduse puiestee (the street between Town Hall Square and Emajõgi); the Estonian President will be there too.

This year Presidental Reception is held in Vanemuine Theatre, if you haven´t received your invitation, you´ll have to watch it on ETV at 18:00

Estonian Independence Day, 24 February, is a public holiday, no school. 23 February is a shortened day – school finishes at 13 for all grades.

Ski holiday for the Finnish school is on 25 February until 4 March (the international school works as normally during this week). The school holiday in the international school is on 17 – 25 March (the Finnish school works normally during this week).
